6 Month Braces Results
Q: How can teeth be straightened in only six months with adult braces?
A: Austin 6 Month Braces uses light forces, nearly invisible clear brackets, and space-age wires that naturally work to move the teeth into the correct positions. One of the reasons we can do this so quickly is that we are mostly moving the front teeth. The teeth people see. The goal is to get a great smile, in a short amount of time, as conservatively as possible.
Q: Six months sounds good, but will I still have a mouth full of metal braces for the whole time?
A: No! Austin Six Month Braces uses clear braces that are barely visible to gently straighten your teeth.
Q: How are Austin 6 Month Smiles braces more comfortable than regular braces?
A: Austin Six Month Smiles uses low force to move teeth gently. Q: Do Austin Six Month Braces damage the teeth, roots, or gums?
A: There are no more risks of root damage or other issues than those associated with traditional orthodontics. Since the forces used with Austin 6 Month braces are lighter and you are in braces for a short amount of time there are actually even fewer risks involved with Austin Six Month Braces.
Q: Am I too old for braces?
A: We are often asked this question, and the answer is an emphatic NO!!!! In fact, most of our braces patients are adults between the ages of 25 and 60. These are people that either couldn't afford braces as a child, or didn't want to go through 2-3 years of metal braces as an adult, but have always been self-conscious of their teeth. Now they have a better option.
Q: What if I had braces before?
A: A VERY common scenario is someone who had braces as a child, but as they got older their teeth moved and are no longer straight. These people are usually a PERFECT candidate for Austin 6 Month Braces.
Here's what the braces look like. Since they are tooth colored, from a talking distance and in photos, they are barely visible!
